I think cooking is art if you make it creative. If you design it and put thoughts into it, then it's art. Making the food pretty and tasting how delicious it is, is the same as art. Art is beautiful no matter how you look at it. You have to put a lot of thoughts into it to make the piece. When you make the food, you want people to taste it to see if it tastes good. Just like how when you create a piece of art and want people to criticize it.
